Nitro Coffee: The Iced Coffee that is served like a beer!

One of Atlanta's most famous coffee shops "Taproom Coffee & Beer" presented an alternative coffee that all beer addicts are gonna love. Not because of its taste, but because of its look. We are talking about the "Beerspresso": cold coffee with a Japanese-style extract (nitro-poured in Japanese style) and dry wine. In fact, it is an alcohol-free beverage, made by filtered water and iced coffee and is served by a beer-machine. The person behind this innovation is Jonathan Pascual, who turned a simple traditional espresso machine into a new one, with 12 cans like the one from which the beer craft is served.

Jonathan said that he used the hops to give an extra fruity taste without bitterness, just like in the beer. This has resulted in giving the coffee a different look that has nothing to do with what we knew so far. The new beverage has a dark color and a lot of foam that reminds you more beer than coffee.
Nitro Cold Brew is enriched with nitrogen and that's where its name comes from. The difference with the other Cold Brew lies in the fact that because of the nitrogen the beverage has an original and a cooler taste. At the same time, its production process affects the acidity of the beverage, making it stronger, while preserving its sweetness and making it smooth and silky.

Nitro Brew is basically cold filter coffee, which is mounted in a draft serving system under the pressure of nitrogen. What's needed in addition is a special nozzle, which contains a microscopic piercing plaque that creates small vortices, which is something that happens in the process of serving a beer. The final product is a fruity fresh and creamy, glass of coffee.

Nitro coffee seems like a very refreshing drink. Baristas will serve it in a special glass through the cannon and even though autumn is coming it will remind us of the beer the barman serves on the hot summer evenings.
